Food is wonderful, the owners are amazing and so loving and welcoming the homemade pistachio chocolate is greattttt

I was CRAVING chicken Kashmiri bad tonight but my husband is not a big fan of the spice in traditional Indian food. As a compromise, we settled on Galleria 7 in Latham, a multi-ethnic food market with excellent vendors, including @Shalimar express. I called around 5 to ask if Shalimar express makes chicken Kashmiri. The nice man answered, told me no and respectfully hung up the call. Within five minutes, the owner, Leo, called me back to tell me that although they do not have chicken Kashmiri as a menu item, they were able to make a modified version and call is chili chicken. We arrived around 615 and Leo greeted us with a smile and a “it was you!!!” He proceeded to explain how he would custom make a dish for me and would make it suitable for my dietary needs. He really didn’t not have to but this man went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. We received the food within 15 minutes and it was DELICIOUS. The chicken was soft and tender, the garlic naan was flavorful and the veggies were absolute perfection. My husband had the Curry chicken and loved every bite. Leo even came and spoke to us about his history, his family and his love for serving his friends. We never post on this page but Leo made this experience such a memorable one. He went far beyond great customer service and truly the food was Amazing. If you are ever in all Latham, give them a try.

BEST food in Galleria7!!! Took my daughter here to go around to all of the restaurants to experience something new! The Shalimar Express won our hearts by far! Felt like we were eating at a 5 star restaurant with the hands on interaction between the person cooking and us eating! We kept going back for more stuff too! We even finished with TWO beautifully homemade desserts! Now we are leaving extremely full, but still energized for our day because it was healthy food! We will definitely be coming back here with all of our friends and family! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Must try if you are in the Latham rt7 area!

First time having Indian food. So I asked for recommendations on what to try since I am not a big fan of lamb. The wonderful woman working recommended going with the bowl which included Naan and a beverage for 12 plus tax. This was absolutely spectacular rice, vegetables chili chicken curry chicken and a few others in there made this a fantastic meal. Sorry the picture was after I dove into the bowl.

The food is amazing. Naan was made to order and you can taste that they did actually grind the lentil in their soup. The Chicken Karahi was perfect. Great portions and exceptional service.

I don't see how you can beat Shalimar Express at Galleria7 for quality of food, taste and price! Their lunch express meal is amazing. You get a large quantity of just really delicious food plus a drink of your choice and naan bread for only 12.99! I stop there whenever I can, because the memory of their food lingers long after I've eaten the meal!

My family and I love this restaurant. Food and customer service is consistently great. I ordered a catered lunch this week with 2 days' notice. The owner graciously accommodated my order, working with me to develop an appropriate menu for a home party of adults and children. Everything was delivered on time and packaged well for transportation. Food was delicious- we ordered samosas, pakoras, shami kababs, and kathi rolls. Everyone loved it and happily took leftovers home.

Many choices at Galleria7. We settled on Shalimar Express for their Appetizer Platter and Chicken Korma with rice and a side of Naan. The food was perfectly seasoned and delicious. If you get the chance stop in and don't forget to order the chocolate for dessert. It is amazing.
